Public prototype launch!
Today we publicly showcase our working title, Nadiark.
What to expect:
Nadiark currently runs, that's about it! Mechanically the game is nearly complete, the enemies and systems are properly programmed yet are waiting on player feedback and the resulting round of polishing before we can say it's done.
The level design is not here, we have one sandbox using a placeholder tilset for you to explore. Expect the entire level aesthetic and design to change entirely throughout the course of development.
Some sprites (doors) are entirely missing and just use the Godot default icon, for now.
What we're currently doing:
Our current focus is tilemapping and spritesheeting, we want to finish our terrain and start building "real" levels for people to get lost in.
We are also working on finishing placeholder sprites for enemies, missing sprites, and normal mapping our sprites in the background.

Rewrote dragger's tongue collision and grappling code to avoid getting stuck in terrain, implemented a tilemap-collision-merger to remove seams in colliders which makes the physics generally much more stable for everyone. Modified Pred behavior to (hopefully) never get stuck trying to cancel animations while turning.
